About Us

The Built Smart AI Program is a fully government-funded training program, offered at no cost to participants in Airdrie and the surrounding area.

Created to support unemployed and underemployed Albertans, the program delivers hands-on training in smart tools, technical skills, and practical work experience to prepare participants for real jobs in the construction sector. Along with construction training, participants are introduced to modern tools and technologies that help improve estimation, planning, safety, streamline logistics, and support sustainable building practices. With a strong focus on construction skills, workplace safety, and career readiness, the Built Smart AI Program equips graduates with the knowledge, confidence, and practical experience to succeed in Alberta’s growing construction and related industries.
