About Us
Every person deserves to experience dignity and comfort in familiar surroundings—whether at home, along-term care facility, or in a hospital – while families receive practical help and emotional support.
At the Airdrie and District Hospice Society, we believe no one should face grief alone. For more than a decade, we’ve supported patients and families across Airdrie, Balzac, Crossfield and surrounding communities with compassionate hospice and palliative care resource support.
We offer resources to local programs for adults and youth, have a compassionate care fund, host educational workshops, and provide comfort care kits —all free and community-based.
We are Airdrie’s only truly community-rooted hospice coordination service—guiding families to care, grief resources, and advocating toward a future dedicated hospice bed. Each collaboration, volunteer and community event reflects our traits to be supportive, knowledgeable, compassionate and respectful.
