Marijuana and the Workplace - Morning info session only

This morning session will provide an overview of the cannabis regulations, workplace case law, and drug testing. Participants will learn their "Duty to accommodate" and how a new regulatory environment on legalized drugs affects their role as an employer: general strategic advice, regulatory matters and other business needs in regards to the new regulations. It will also provide employers with some practical tools to manage risks and avoid human resource problems before they arise and help give insight on how to find positive outcomes, disputes, including litigation, arbitration and human rights complaints in regards to the new regulations.
