Growing up on a farm in rural Alberta\, and after 13 years of post-secondary education\, she took her first job at the Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary. During her 10 years there Jody learned the most about relationships and the vital importance of connection. Today\, she is back living in a rural setting by Olds\, Alberta\, managing a private practice\, raising a family\, and travelling and speaking around North America about relationships\, connection and her 2019 book\, "Kids These Days: A Game Plan For (Re)Connecting With Those We Teach\, Lead & Love."\n\nThe core of everything Jody speaks and writes about comes down to this: we are wired to do hard things. We can do those hard things so much easier when we remember this: we are wired for connection.\n\nWorkshop Facilitators: Your choice of two workshops to attend! \n\n Jodi Eckert\n Larae Pierson\n Megan Brett\n Megan Moore\n Tara Pickford\n\nPanel Discussion:\n\n\n\n Charlotte Blackwell - The Donut Man\n Heather Harke - Shoplift Deals Ltd.\n Jacqui Jepson - The Pink Wand Cleaning Services\n Krista Frayn - Spark and Bloom \n\nOpportunity to Network (optional):\n\n\n\nBring your one minute elevator pitch!\n\nAttendee Gift Bag (optional):\n\nWould you like to receive a gift bag (valued at over $100) for attending this event?!
